SAVOY - Judith "Judy" Parmenter, 93, of The Villas of Holly Brook, Savoy, passed away Thursday (March 27, 2025).She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Dr. Bruce Parmenter of Urbana.Judy is survived by five children, Linda (Mark) Searby of Newberry, Fla., Cindi Parmenter of Nolensville, Tenn., Patricia (Jon) Reichard of Urbana, Todd (Pam) Parmenter of Peoria and Eric (Sherry) Parmenter of Franklin, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her life.Judy was born Sept. 10, 1931, in Rockford, to Leonard and Virginia (Storm) Key. The family later moved to Shumway, where they began farming, and Judy graduated from Beecher City High School. She attended Lincoln Bible Institute in Lincoln but chose to pause her studies to support her husband's ministry. Together, they served Christian congregations in Bible Grove, Martinton, Beecher City, Tuscola and Decatur, where they formed lifelong friendships.Later, when Dr. Bruce Parmenter
