FISHER - Darlene Rogers, 101, of Fisher peacefully and gracefully passed away Thursday (Aug. 22, 2024) at home in Fisher with her family at her side.Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at East Bend Memorial Gardens, Fisher, with Kevin Lawrence officiating. A time of fellowship will follow in the gymnasium at Dewey Community Church. A celebration of life service was held Saturday, Aug. 24, at the church with Pastor Neal Hauser officiating.Memorial contributions may be made to Dewey Community Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.Darlene was born Aug. 20, 1923, in Dewey, a daughter to Philip and Emma Estes Hitchins. She married Ivan Rogers on March 12, 1943, in Dewey. They were married 48 years. He passed away on May 2, 1991.She is survived by her six children, Sandra Matheny of Brevard, N.C., Ron (Jill) Rogers of Fisher, Rick (Debra) Rogers of Paxton, Larry (Vicki) Rogers of Monticello, Lisa Heiser of Fisher and Lynn (Stacy) Rogers of Carlyle; 11 grandchi
