Tajee Johnson, born on January 29, 1988, in Decatur, IL, passed away on July 1, 2024. Tajee was a beloved son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of those around him.
Tajee had a passion for basketball and video games. He also had a keen eye for fashion and was known for his impressive hat collection and jewelry. Music was another one of Tajee's passions, and he enjoyed exploring different genres and discovering new artists.
Tajee will be deeply missed by his parents, Sammie Cunningham Jr and Cassandra Partee, and his sister, Lanedra Gray. He was also survived by his grandparents, Rev. George Johnson and Sandra Johnson, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who cherished his presence in their lives.
Tajee is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sammie Cunningham Sr and Carla Willims, as well as his cousins, Tia Jarrett Patterson and Iyonna Johnson.
